This unique experience offers a profound journey into the wisdom of yoga, ayurveda & your own inner self. This week will be in between a retreat and a yoga teacher training — think of it as an immersive week, fully dedicated to deepening your practice.

Created for the more intermediate / experienced yoga practitioner & to know the basic understandings of Ayurveda is a plus ~ (you will receive a presentation of the basics of Ayurveda)

Y O G A & A Y U R V E D A
During this retreat you will get a wonderful blend of yoga practices combined with the knowledge & beauty of Ayurveda, they complement each other perfectly.
Y O G A
We practice yoga to control the mind, so it does not control us. We calm the 'vrittis' (thought waves) to bring us clarity, awareness, flexibility & strength in the body and mind. During the week we take a deep dive in the understanding of yoga and explore old ancient & new playful poses.
A Y U R V E D A
Ayurveda re-awakens the deep knowing that you are true nature. Ayurveda teaches us to live a healthy, happy life, to fully enjoy it by creating awareness around our diet, lifestyle, work and sleep. We take a deeper dive in the understanding of the old ancient wisdom in the modern world and how to implement it in our lives.
We will have plenty of time to dive into this wisdom so that we can return to our intended authentic selves through the magical combination of yoga, ayurveda, pranayama & food for the soul.
T H E V E N U E
6 days at retreat centre Suryalila:
Suryalila is a sacred place nestled in a large open valley in the foothills of the Sierra de Grazalema. A unique place to be: every day you will see the sun rising and setting. This place is an old renovated olive farm surrounded by orange & lemon trees.
It has a permaculture with loads of organic vegetables and fruits that will be served fresh on your plate. It has chickens (for the fresh eggs) and several other animals walking around: think alpacas! It feels serene, spacious and full of love. The interior is well-designed and has handpicked items collected from Bali, India & Marocco.
Suryalila has three yoga shalas, one of them is the Om Dome, seen as the most impressive yoga hall in Europe.
Spa.
Suryalila has a beautiful salt water pool and a self built sauna.
It will be around 33 degrees, a perfect temperature for a cool dip in the pool!

D I R E C T I O N S
If you fly:
Fly on Jerez, Malaga or Sevilla airport.
From here you can share a taxi or rented car. We will send out a drive to arrange shared taxi or rented car rides.
Public transport is also possible till Villamartin, from there you can take a taxi to Suryalila.
CHECK IN
On Saturday the 12th of July the check-in starts from 15hr, we start the program at 18hr. So enough time to settle.
CHECK OUT
The checkout is on Friday the 18th of July at 11 after our closing circle in the morning.
